How to protect yourself
- Never share OTP, UPI PIN, ATM PIN, CVV or passwords with anyone.
- Verify by calling the official number printed on your policy or the company's official website, not a number given by the caller.
- Pause: scammers create urgency ("today only"). Take time and ask family or us.
- Do not install screen-sharing apps on a stranger's request.
- Check that an investment platform or adviser is registered with the regulator.
